Holy Week Pilgrimage
Thursday, April 13, 6:00-8:00 pm

This year we will observe Holy Week with a special pilgrimage. The earliest Christian communities saw this time of year as the ultimate time for baptisms because this was when Christ died and was raised. Our pilgrimage will begin with worship and a light meal in the Fellowship Hall, as we reflect on the story of Jesus’ final days on this earth. Our journey will culminate with a remembrance of our baptism, anointing to serve as Christ’s representatives, and receiving the sacrament of Holy Communion. In order to have an accurate count for the meal, please call or email Kathy Herrera in the church office (620-342-6186 or kathyh@fumchurch.org) to let her know how many will be attending. Child care will be provided at 6:30, after the meal, for those who wish to bring children for only part of the service.
