It is very important that our children have a Biblical foundation to stand upon as they live their lives on a daily basis. We want to give all of the children in our church the gift that will serve them their whole life: a chance to develop a personal relationship with Christ and to continually nurture this relationship. There are many opportunities for Christian growth at FUMC, and we hope you will take advantage of the programs that interest you and your family.

Children Have Lots of Opportunities for Fun, Fellowship, and Faith Building at FUMC!

Sunday School:

Matthew 6:33 “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

Text Box: We have a wonderful group of teachers that love to work with the children at FUMC. In all of our Sunday School classes, we use Faith Weaver curriculum, a terrific resource that our children and teachers enjoy very much. In Sunday School, all our children have the opportunity to sing, grow spiritually, make friends, be loved, and know God’s love.

Half-Time:

Ephesians 6:10 “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”

Text Box: This mid-week program has two eight-week sessions: one in the fall (September to October) and one in the spring (January to March). A family dinner is served at 5:30 pm and programming follows from 6:00-7:30 pm. We will be exercising our body, mind, and spirit. It is an excellent opportunity for children to grow in their faith while making friends and having fun.

Choir:

Celebration Choir – 1st through 6th Graders…

The children practice on Wednesday evenings from 6:15-6:45 (during Half-Time) and sing on the 3rd Sunday of the month during late church.
