High School Grads

Isabelle (Izzy) Alvarado
is the daughter of Nick and Kandi Alvarado. She will be attending Washburn University to major in Forensic Science and minoring in Spanish.

Areli Carlson
is the daughter of Andrew and Jessica Carlson. Areli is attending Emporia State University this fall to major in Entrepreneurship.

Storm Dial
is the son of Kelley Dial and Troy Dial. He will attend Wichita State University this fall. His major is biology with a long term goal of med school. He is a Rudd Scholar.

Cameron Kienholz
is the son of Kevin and Cindy Kienholz. Cameron will attend Emporia State University to major in Athletic Training.

Avery Moore
is the daughter of Jamie and Lori Moore. She plans to attend Emporia State University in the fall to major in nursing.

Elizabeth (Beth) Schwerdtfeger
is the daughter of Bryan and Sara Schwerdtfeger. She will major in Biochemistry at Emporia State University this fall with a long term goal of Pharmacy School. 

Jake Taylor
is the son of Michelle Zumbrum. He plans to attend Flint Hills Technical College for IT.

Taylor Thomas
is the daughter of Eric and Dede Thomas. She will be attending the University of Kansas to major in Human Biology.

Betsey Williams
is the daughter of Jim and Helen Williams. She will be attending South Dakota State University to major in History or Environmental Science.


College Grads

Carrie Boettcher

Taryn Bohlken has taken a position as a nurse in Salina.

Erynn Dahlke graduated with a BS in Economics. She is moving to Great Bend to work as a youth director at a local church this summer. She will be pursuing her MDiv from Iliff School of Theology through their online Journey Program. 

Desiree Della Pena

Bailey Estes received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy.

Paul Reichenberger will be teaching business at McPherson Middle School.

Emily Riggs
is receiving a degree in Business Management and Marketing (graduating Summa Cum Laude) from Baker University. She will be working for Group Mission Trips this summer. Then her plans include doing mission work in Ethiopia for 3 months with the World Race.

Abe Ruffcorn is attending Seminary at Asbury in Kentucky this fall.

Tyler Tabares is graduating from KU Med with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

Henry Weiner received a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Mathematics. In the fall he’ll be teaching Algebra II and Physics at McPherson High School. He is looking forward to building connections with students and introducing students to mathematics and science. He is grateful to our congregation for being welcoming to him over these past 4 years. He feels that this is an incredible congregation and was proud to call it his temporarily home!

Alyssa Wistuba will be teaching English at Emporia High School.
